Our old friend, Cllr. Harry Phibbs (Con) joined the debate on the 25% Hammersmith Broadway police cut last night. Oddly, he chose to spend most of his speech quoting from the autobiography of Ali Dezaie – the borough’s new Chief Superintendent.He could have talked about his wish to allow people to carry stun guns that deliver a 50,000 volt shock to a person. That’s not a problem he says, in this article here, as he points out that “Nobody has ever been killed by one in the UK”.
